This is a video documentation of the workshop Art of the Next Generation, a pre-Biennale for The 3rd Seoul International Media Art Biennale media_city seoul 2004. The workshop was held on 30 January, 2004, at the auditorium of the Seoul Museum of History. The lectures wereKim Inhwan, Johan Pijnappel, Hans D. Christ, Hiroshi Yoshioka, and Roh Sohyeoung, while the panel of discussants included Jung Yongdo, Shim Hyeryeon, Kim Jinyeop, and Yoo Min Ho. The event offered an opportunity to explore media art that expands its spatial boundaries according to the media environment, as well as to reflect on the future of next-generation art.
