In this experimental video piece, Anderson incorporates various techniques to explore the human experience. She crafts a miniature terracotta ‘clone’ of herself and then projects her own image onto it. Tucked away in a corner of the gallery, this small projected double murmurs continuously, thanks to sound played by nearby speakers. In order to engage with this artwork, viewers must kneel down and lower themselves to its level. Best known for her performance art, Anderson expands her practice into music and theater, yet remains deeply rooted in conceptual art, always telling her stories through spoken word and text.
