Jinjoo Kim foregrounds aspects of polarity, fragments, performative speech, memory and archives, using dialogue as her characteristic artistic attitude and primary tool. In addition to her solo exhibition Seismometers (Hapjungjigu, 2020), she has participated in group exhibitions such as A Future to Go, Kim Geuntae (Kim Geuntae Memorial Library Archives, 2021), SeMA Non-Western Project Gohyang (Seoul Museum of Art, 2019), 2021 DMZ Art & Peace Platform (2021) and the 5th Anyang Public Art Project (Anyang, 2016). Kim also participated in artist community ps’s Listening Company (2009-2011), podcast Talking Art (2015-2017), study and research community Agrafa Society (2019-2021), and Seoul Museum of Art Everyone’s Lab Coral (2021-2023) in the roles of curator, translator, editor, and moderator.
