This symposium was organized to examine media art from humanistic and social perspectives and to explore the expanded meanings of media. It consisted of presentations, a panel discussion, and a Q&A session. The presenters were Kim Sunjung, Artistic Director of SMB10, and the three co-curators—Nicolaus Schafhausen, Fumihiko Sumitomo, and Clara Kim. The panel included Seungduk Kim, Jihoon Kim, Park Il-ho, Yoon Joonsung, Jaap Guldemond, Jen Mizuik, and Franck Gautherot, while Sim Cheol-woong and Kim Sungwon participated as discussants.
