The 7th Seoul International Media Art Biennale Media City Seoul 2012 Spell on you, was held from September 11 to November 4, 2012, at the Seoul Museum of Art and the Sangam Digital Media City Promotion Center. Spell on you explored the confusion and challenges faced by contemporary individuals amid rapid technological advancements and the overwhelming flood of media. It sought to reinterpret these experiences as landscapes of thought shaped by human creativity and imagination, metaphorically framing each effort as a “spell.” The exhibition presented 57 works by 49 artists and collectives across four sub-themes.
