This video documents a lecture by Michel Bauwens, held as a public programs of the 10th Seoul Mediacity Biennale Eu Zên.
Bauwens—founder and director of the P2P Foundation and co-founder of the Commons Strategies Group—focuses on the trend of P2P infrastructure becoming a fundamental condition for society. Through four scenarios, Bauwens explores practical alternatives and the trajectory toward a post-capitalist future based on peer production, moving beyond the traditional capitalist system.
This lecture was the second session of the lecture series The Evolution of Homo Economicus: the Resurrection of Commoners which was also presented as an artwork, oranized by economist Hyeong Joon Park, PhD. The event took place at the Seoul Museum of Art on October 2, 2018.
