This video documents a lecture by Richard G. Wilkinson, held as a public programs of the 10th Seoul Mediacity Biennale Eu Zên.

Wilkinson—Emeritus Professor of Social Epidemiology at the University of Nottingham, Honorary Professor at University College London, and Visiting Professor at the University of York—has focused his research and publications on how the scope of health and social problems tends to widen in societies with large wealth gaps. In this lecture, he discusses how social inequality causes social harm, drawing on a diverse range of statistical data.

This lecture was the third session of the lecture series The Evolution of Homo Economicus: the Resurrection of Commoners which was also presented as an artwork, oranized by economist Hyeong Joon Park, PhD. The event took place at the Seoul Museum of Art on November 1, 2018.
